Online Flute Lessons
Private flute lessons with Tevet Sela are both fun and fruitful. Tevet has over 20 years of experience as a performing artist, composer and educator. Throughout the years Tevet has developed his own unique teaching techniques that walks the student step by step from the basics of playing the instrument to advanced improvisational concepts.
Lessons are done online, face to face, just like a traditional private lesson, except you could comfortably have them at your home! - Just schedule a time with Tevet, hop on Skype or Zoom and start making progress!
Tevet’s unique teaching program includes:
Sound Production
Breathing correctly, volume and tone control, vibrato and overall flexibility, developing fast tonguing.
Reading Music
Reading and interpreting music in various styles. Phrasing and using articulation and expression.
Harmony / music theory
A simple yet effective step by step method, developed by Tevet, for learning chord symbols and related scales. Emphasis on building technique and making it useful in actual playing.
Traditional & Current Styles
The blues, jazz/bebop, funk – r&b, rock. Concentrating on feel and authenticity.
Time / Groove
Exercises for maintaining a steady time feel. This is a must for any style of music.
Levels
Beginner to advanced (no age limit).
